在美國工作的人一定都對Social Security不陌生
事實上
台灣最近也採行了類似的制度
但何謂Social Security呢
簡單的說
對於非自營業的人
政府強制你每年存錢(6% of your earnings up to Social Security Wage Base)
也要求雇主提撥相同的金額
等到你退休後
政府就以年金的方式發還給你
就算你薪水再高
以2007而言
你最多每年只要繳到$5850的社安稅
當然等你退休時
你最多也只能領到上限(2006 是$1636 per month)
