I totally agree that Ichiro is a great ball player. He just signed a huge contract not long ago, and I personally believe he is worth every penny of it. But come on, choosing him over Granderson for the sliver slugger is like a disgrace to Ichiro, a disgrace to the fans, and a disgrace to baseball. Curtis Granderson has 16 more homers, 16 more triples, 16 more doubles and an OPS advantage of 0.086.
Even Nick Markakis has a higher OPS than Ichiro. Gosh, I wish Nick won the Silver Slugger!
